Tuesday 08/08/2017

Congratulations go to Apprentice, Ross Jasper, in our Neighbourhood team, who has been named as a finalist at the South West Regional Apprenticeship awards. Being put forward for this award acknowledges Ross Jasper’s exceptional commitment to his role here.

Ross Jasper, Trainee Housing Coordinator said: “I’m very happy to proceed to the next round of the National Apprenticeship Awards. This proves how fantastic apprenticeships are. They really are a great way of launching your career. The real credit should go Suzanne Hourahine, our People Development Manager. She has put so much work into developing our apprenticeships. Thanks also to our very kind line managers who lead the way for us every day.”

Suzanne Hourahine, People Development Manager said: ‘’We began recruiting apprentices in Sept 2015. Since then we have created over 20 apprenticeships. Our apprentices have made fantastic progress, working hard and being the very best that they can possibly be. It’s encouraging to see that the National Apprenticeship Awards understand the challenges that apprentices overcome in their roles. Ross and our other apprentices make us so proud of their hard work. We congratulate, not only Ross for his achievements but all of our apprentices. They have done so well already and I can see really exciting futures for them ahead.”

Ross will be attending the awards celebration event later in the year.

Good luck Ross!
