Support people

We work with people to support them when they really need it. Find out more about what we do.

Who do we work with?

homeless families with support needs
young single people with support needs
young people at risk
teenage parents or pregnant teenagers
young people leaving care
people with mental health problems
people who misuse alcohol, drugs or other substances
women and children experiencing or escaping domestic abuse
older or frail older people and people with physical disabilities.

What do we do?

We work with each client to identify their individual support needs, and provide regular support to see how things are going. We can:

help people to access the benefits they're entitled
work with people to manage their finances and their debts to help them stay in their homes
provide opportunities to develop budgeting, cooking and cleaning skills to empower those we support to live independently
support people to develop parenting skills, and put them in touch with other support services such as health visitors
promote access to education, training and employment opportunities
enable older and disabled people to live safely in their own homes by  providing home safety advice and arranging repairs and adaptations.
